Walkies!

Gordon really likes his daily walks with his foster brother and sisters.

He really would like a bit more play time when he is outside; but since we do not have a fenced yard, he is relegated to spinning on his lead during the walks for now.

I will make every effort to try to get some vid of him playing when we walk - it's so cute!

Cuddly Pup!

After a couple of days getting acclimated to our home, Gordon decided that this was a pretty great place! No more did he have to be constantly hungry, no more did he have to be constantly trying to make the bugs stop biting him; all he had to do was be the good boy that he is! He is just that -- a really good boy.

He gets along very well with the resident hounds, and learned the daily routine very quickly - even learning the open backed stairs within days!! Sometimes, however, when a hound has been in a home for several years, they have learned some habits that are difficult to break. Gordon REALLY likes to cuddle on the sofa, for instance.

I have a Sponsor!

401(Grey) Investors: Janet & Jeremy Schuster (Ragtime & Husky)
Sponsoring: Mr. Gordon ( in memory of Force)

Here's what Janet wrote about their 401(Grey) commitment to Mr. Gordon.

"We're sponsoring Gordon in memory of one of our first greys, Force. We adopted Force and his "sister" Christina in 2004.

"Force was in very poor health when he first came to the group. He was severely underweight and had a bad skin condition. His foster mom, Jennifer Henry, nursed him back to health and we adopted him and loved him until 2008, when he was lost to osteosarcoma far too soon at age 8."

Too cool, huh? Janet & Jeremy foster for us regularly. They have the Divine Miss Pooka right now. Their support both through 401(Grey) and sponsoring is much appreciated. Give me a shout privately if you need info about how 401(Grey) Foster Dog Sponsorships work..
